Dye and Rune Traders.
Should they stay or not? I personally believe they should, because they collapsed our economy. Vote away!

I think there are bigger problems with the GW economy than Dye and Rune Traders.

Yes! The lack or buried treasure for one. My Pirate is having a hard time finding buried treasure.
Or wenches to dig it up for that matter.

Hey, I personally think the traders should be resupplied on all items weekly or more often to keep prices down. It'd be great being able to buy ectos from the trader whenever I want for 2K apiece or less.

Dye traders hardly effect the economy. Dye is so completely not useful that it doesn't matter. If you can't afford it, no big deal, you're not losing anything by not affording the same color as someone else. This shouldn't even be a question really.
The Rune Trader, well, I would vote to stay. I prefer buying/selling there compared to normal people anyways. I can get it faster and generally with less hastle. And really, the trader is fine, unless you're trying to get one of the two highest costing runes of course (vigor/absorption). The rest.. well, they're affordable frankly if you're into buying runes.
Honestly, look at the runes. Only very few are actually expensive. Everything else, is affordable even for poor new players.
They don't bother with economy really...
Cheers!

Sure they should stay.
Money, items etc are supposed to be unimportant. Dyes do nothing other than change appearance, therefore shouldn't be allowed to become so rare that you can end up paying 50k just to slightly change your appearance from someone else with FoW armour.
Runes... well ok they change your performance slightly, but then why should someone who's merely lucky and finds a Sup they can use have an extra 3 attribute points than anyone else? That could be a fairly significant advantage, which could be used as a reason to drive the price up I guess, but then it's also a reason not to, because people shouldn't have the advantage.
The stuff that sells a lot (i.e. gold weaps/upgrades) don't actually make all that much difference; its a small difference but someone without them is far from disadvantaged.
Just my random thoughts anyway lol

I would say they stay but lets get economy away from being Tryian when runes are the same price as DF and the same has HoD there is something wrong.I don't see to many in HoD as it is known as boring Denrvi anyway those runes should be cheaper. It would be nice to see a weapons mod merchant as well like someone said.I would have to say it is really up to us maybe to get the economy intact when runes and dye are going don't buy for ahwile let the prices fall or like someone said get weekly shipment in every week for resupply.

I think the traders should stay. I think they should fix the Major runes so they are not useless and worthless, perhaps change the minus to 25 instead of 50 and people might use them. And what are they doing with the prices of runes lately the market is crashing. Superior AB is selling for less than 60k. And why do warriors get this extra rune that does not have a minus why not let any armor class use it like vigor. Or at least create an extra rune for every class that does not have a minus.

Stay definatly. I am their source of runes lol with my charr farming. I get a ton of minor runes I sell to the traders. Good profit if its a good minor rune. And I like the ability to buy dye and runes without having to look for them.
Because if they got rid of the dye traders and rune traders I know everyone would start asking a crap load for a minor rune. I know I'm not interested in having to spend a lot of gold for runes and dye some player has so he can become rich. screw that.

They screw up the economy. Due to them, prices are shit-low and everyone can get rich. That's not challenging, isn't it?

There would be no better way than the one you suggested to screw the game up imo.
